Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma actor Kavi Kumar Azad aka Dr Hansraj Hathi lost his life on 9th July and left all his fans and close ones in shock. The much-loved actor’s mortal remains were cremated at Mira Road Crematorium on July 10.
Since the day he passed away, there’s a lot of sadness among his lovers and the actor has been a huge topic of discussions. Many celebs remembered their bonding with him and expressed their grief about losing a friend.
However, something that adds to the grief even more was the attitude of some people at the actor’s funeral. Many people arrived at the funeral of Kavi Kumar Azad but it was saddening to see them laughing and trying to click selfies with other celebs present there.
Munmum Dutta who was also present there expressed her sadness about it on social media. She posted a strong message through her Instagram stories which read as-
“I am really appalled with the way people were behaving when we went to pay our last respects to Hathi bhai at his house, before cremation. Clicking selfies, shoving phones on our faces, making videos. Be it aunties, uncles or the younger ones. It shows how little respect people have during such grim and depressing moments. All for a selfie? So that you can boast on your social media and circulate on your WhatsApp? During such situations, general public never comes to show respect but to spot celebrities, click pictures and have a gala time. I shouted at two people for shoving their cellphones on my face in the crowd. I saw people in the neighbouring building laughing while spotting us and clicking our pics. I saw zero respect on their faces, n left the place before it turns into a ‘TAMASHA’ for everyone.”

Well, she is absolutely right. People really need to learn a lot when it comes to behaving in front of celebs.
