The world bank has updated its figures for Gross Domestic Product of the countries for the year 2017. According to the updated figures, India has become the world’s sixth-biggest economy, pushing France to seventh place. After quarters of slowdown, India rebounded strongly from July 2017.
According to the figures released by the World Bank in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) India’s GDP reached $2.597 trillion in 2017, while it was at $2.582 trillion for France.
