Salman Khan yet again lands in legal trouble. A criminal complaint has been lodged against the megastar of Bollywood Salman Khan on 25 June. The complaint is lodged by a senior journalist Ashok Pandey, he accused Salman Khan of allegedly snatching his phone during an incident back in April 2019.
The complaint is registered at the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Andheri, Mumbai. It is filed under robbery, criminal mischief, assault, and criminal intimidation. The case against the actor has been filed under sections 323, 392, 426, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
In April, a complaint was lodged against Salman Khan at DN Nagar Police Station, Mumbai. The accuser has accused Salman Khan of snatching his phone and misbehaving with him as he was trying to click a video of the actor who was cycling on the linking road, Mumbai.
However, the complaint which has been lodged by the senior journalist said ‘he took permission from the Superstar’s bodyguard before shooting the actor’. He also claimed that both the actor and his bodyguard ill-treated him.
Salman Khan’s bodyguard also lodged a cross-complaint stating that the person was following the Sultan actor and recorded Salman’s video without his consent. Salman Khan asked the senior journalist not to record any video or click his pictures but they continued capturing Salman.
Ashok Pandey’s advocate said they had to take this drastic step because the police have not taken any proper cognizance of the FIR lodged against the Sultan actor.
